The name SLAP stands for Software License Accounting Package is a catalog of software media. It keeps local ISO images of the media and provides a way of linking these ISO images with the location of the original media.
It keeps track of licenses for the software and locations where the software is installed. This information is presented using a GUI which allows searches. It provides a system for creating ISO images and burning installation media. Executable, source files, help files and an alternate web based search tool are included in the installation archive.
